My wife and I purchased "Lady" in early spring, 2020. She's a great companion us, elderly owners, and she provides security for us at our home out on a ranch. She's now over 100 pounds, black, smart, and devoted. She may be a bit more strong willed that some other Shepherds that we have had over the last 6o years, but I am at least as happy with her as any dog I have ever owned — and there have been many dogs before her, mostly German Shepherds and Blue Heelers. What we like about Shepherds is that the puppies are like a blank computer hard drive they can be programed to do what you want and need for them to do. I hope Lady outlives me, but if she doesn't, I will get my next dog at the same place: Texas German Shepherds. Jim Harris, MD, Marshall, Texas
