Your commitment to a lifelong companion

Understanding the Guesshaus German Shepherds contract is a crucial step in welcoming a new family member. This page clarifies our reservation process, health guarantees, and lifelong commitment to our dogs, ensuring a smooth and responsible experience. We invite you to read through these important details.

Understanding your reservation

When you reserve a puppy from Guesshaus German Shepherds, you are making a commitment to a sentient living being who will need care for their entire life, typically around 13 years. For this reason, all reservations are non-refundable. Your reservation number determines your pick order from all the litters produced by Guesshaus. Once you make your selection, everyone else behind you moves up in the pick order. We encourage you to carefully consider this lifelong commitment before placing a reservation. The full terms and conditions, including health guarantees, are detailed in the complete contract, which we strongly advise you to read thoroughly.

Addressing common concerns: health and lifetime support

We understand that potential buyers have concerns about the health and future of their new German Shepherd. Our contract directly addresses these worries by guaranteeing that your pup is healthy upon pickup. We require that your new German Shepherd be inspected by your veterinarian within 72 hours of receiving them to confirm their health. It is highly recommended that you make this appointment in advance. Furthermore, a core part of our philosophy is protecting our dogs. If something unexpected happens and you are unable to keep your dog, you can always return them to Guesshaus German Shepherds. This ensures that none of our beloved dogs ever end up in a shelter, reflecting our commitment to their lifelong well-being.

How our contract protects you and your puppy

The Guesshaus German Shepherds contract is designed to offer peace of mind for both you and your new puppy. It protects your investment by providing a replacement pet if a veterinarian determines that your dog is affected by a euthanasia-type disease as set out in the Contract. This commitment ensures that you are not left completely without a cherished companion due to unforeseen health issues. Our goal is to foster a relationship built on trust and provide you with a healthy, well-adjusted German Shepherd who will bring joy to your family for many years.
