Our philosophy at Guesshaus is deeply rooted in the German Shepherd Dog Club of America (GSDCA) Illustrated Breed Standard. We envision each dog embodying these traits: superior conformation, remarkable intelligence, efficient gait, innate herding ability, and an unwavering willingness to work. We prioritize a biddable temperament that allows for effective training and retention of lessons. We also favor rich pigmentation, dark eyes, and a classic 1960s-style conformation, reminiscent of what put these herding dogs in the top of America's favorite breeds.

Our main goal for every puppy is to ensure they want to be with their person or family, while simultaneously being ready to perform their duties on call.
